    Precision Sonar graph glass protection

Anyone use the anti glare graph protection and did impair your vision of the graph?

Yes and yes - I'd recommend the regular.

You don't say which control head you have. I wouldn't recommend it on the Solix... It turned my normally bright and crisp Solix 15 screen into a dull and fuzzy screen. I replaced it with the clear and love it. They now have a warning on the Solix Anti-Glare units about this.

I have had an anti glare screen on my Solix12 for 4 years. My thought on it is, If you cant handle the glare from the way you have your unit mounted it is an alternative. I have my solix mounted straight in front of my helm. I was very distracted by my reflection I had to do something about it. The anti glare made it more visible and useful than without it. You will get your sharpness reduced a bit. That is lessened if you are at 90 degree angle to the screen. At a more sideward angle the cloudiness will increase. I would at this juncture say go with the clear ,but the anti glare is a conditional substitute. Bob
