    Updating maps

    Just watched the rmp video on how to update garmin map with Active Captain. Wow, scary for a technically challenged 71 year old man. Guess I’ll wait until my 5th grade grandson gets here for Xmas to help me!

    I wouldn't be so hard on yourself. I'm sure there are others that find the process rather cumbersome. You could try updating using Garmin Express. That is the more "traditional" way, where you download the new maps through your computer and then upload it to your Echomap unit via SD card.
