    On this night in '16

    Gatlinburg and lots of Sevier Co. was on fire, I've been looking at pics taken in GBurg that day and know it was tragic. Now 5 years later it has really rebounded, the greenery is more lush than ever. As bad as it was for the residents it really helped the forest...

    It is a natural process and is one of the reasons they end up with huge uncontrollable fires and mudslides out west. With that being said it is hard to allow it when there are homes and business in the way.

    I am in North Carolina tonight and drove by this fire today. It did not look like this during the day, just saw smoke.
