If the rules allow you to fish from a pontoon and a draw partner was upset about your boat....I'd say if you don't want to fish then don't.

I'd be happy to fish with you.

I’m aware some co anglers have their own boats, but if they complain about a boaters rig while having their own I have a hard time giving them any sympathy.

I think most people assume that coanglers who have their own boats are just there for a guide trip….maybe add a few spots & techniques to their playbook.

A pontoon is a GREAT rig to still fish from. Not so much in the maneuvering department or in a stiff wind!! Loads of fun with a bunch of folks on board. The one I had was a BPS Bass tracker with a75 hp Merc. For certain not a tournament rig !!!!!! The family had a BLAST on it !!!!!!!!

As long as I have room to cast and my feet stay dry then I dont give a crap if we are fishing off a sheet of plywood.

Talked to dealer Wednesday and its on a parts hold still , another thing he's hoping to get the onboard MK PCL charger in just after the first on January , as long as I get the complete package by end of January I'll remain patient . As I mentioned before this had turned into a 68 grand pontoon boat , but it's exactly what I wanted . No boat show in Atlanta this year as not enough dealers can get boats to sell . This has turned into a six month wait period after I paid big deposit .

Well now it's been 5 month sense I put money down with my order , I now have upgraded my TM to ghost and Lithium on board charger , also got the Rail Blaza rod holders in and they are very nice , I got email from Ranger telling me it's built but needs some of the seats and binimi top . I'm hopeful it gets to dealer in a couple of weeks .

Bbq pit? Stereo? Ice chest full of beer? Bimini top with lounge seating so I can take a nap? Brand new Ranger? Yeah, I’ll go!

Did you buy it from Gwinnett Marine in Buford?

If you want to check out some boats for the hell of it, Marine Maxx in Cumming is having their own boat show on Lake Lanier January 21st - 23rd.

From Sinclair Marina , I live on Sinclair and they are very convenient and I like the people there . I didn't even buy a trailer , it would just be a yard decoration .

If you're like me and would never fish a Bass tournament with an entry fee from a pontoon!
Read the rules--- if they allow a pontoon and you have an issue - then don't fish.. Problem solved !

I would love to fish in it but would be a bit disappointed as a co-angler.

If I fished as a co-angler and drew a guy who lived on the lake, and exclusively fished that lake, I’d be pretty excited regardless of his boat.
