Totalscan and HDI

I have a Carbon 9 at the bow connected to an HDI transducer on my trolling motor, and an HDS Gen 3 connected to a Totalscan at the helm.

I just bought a Carbon with the AI 3-1 to replace the helm unit.

Would there be any advantage to moving the Totalscan to the trolling motor to replace the HDI? I have Livescope as well, so no real need for side imaging up front.

Just trying to figure out if it’s worthwhile to spend the 70 bucks for the mount. If there would be a major improvement.

The (only) advantage would be SideScan.
