digthemup, I put led retrofit bulbs that will fit in all the original holders throughout the boat. In both long lockers you can use those led strips with sticky backing and put them the entire length of the locker. I powered each one right from the original bulb holder in each locker that way when you flip it on, the bulb and the led strip light up. I had to use metal HVAC foil tape to help support the led strips as they don't stick perfectly to the underside of the top cap.

thank you for sharing your ideas in solving the lighting problem, especially some of the parts to our boats not being available. Some of my friend wonder why I have not updated to a new boat, but I love my Snake, which is hard to explain the wonderful things this rig does just right. I have considered other rigs especially Legend Alpha 211 R.
Until she gives me a reason to move on, I will be holding on to her.

Thanks digthemup, there is no storage under the seats. The seats mount up exactly like the factory seats. I did replace the gauges, they are made by Teleflex, forgot the model. I have not got to replacing the compartment lights yet but I plan to in the future.

That looks like an awesome restore job. Great call going with the seats from Deans top and Canvas. I did my snake a couple years ago and that is where I got my seats as well. Job well done!!!

You'll have to fish in your socks, I wouldn't let anybody step on that with shoes on.

That carpet color kinda looks like my original carpet color on my 201D and I couldn't find a match anywhere. Did you use carpet which matched your original color? If so, do you know what vendor has that carpet color? Thanks

Boat looks awesome. I have the same year and model with white and gold trim. When the carpet was replaced, did you have the silver trim removed with the rivets and did you replace the silver trim when completed? Thanks

Thanks for the info on the rivets, just looking to see what I have to do with mine. Do you know what size the gauges were? Looks like I will need to replace those also.

I've now fished out of it twice since adding the deck extension and adding the new Ultrex trolling motor. All I can say is WOW!! its worth every penny spent, the boat is like a totally different one!
