55 to 56 today, Lake is turning over too on the dam end.

14 fish, 4 over 4lbs. But no pattern too them some right on the bank in 2ft of water then the rest were more than 30ft. Crazy day but fishing was tough just got lucky.

Curious if anyone has been the last week or so?
I'm thinking of going Friday, and maybe Sunday. Sunday is going to be the front of a cold snap. I know that can be tough, but we've had some decent luck in the past on days like that fishing real slow.

We caught one 18 inch smallie and several bites on a jig
Water temp 53
Was there all day yesterday. Water was 52 at beginning of day and 54 by the end. Shad everywhere in the creeks. Caught some decent largemouth while throwing small grubs for crappie lol. Guy at the ramp said they caught lots of smallies on make lake points. Didn't say what they were using but by the looks of the boat they were using live bait.
I know of a guy who caught them really good on the same day you were there. He caught them on points, but not live bait.
I went the day after you, and didn't have any luck. I didn't catch anything on main points. I caught one keeper about 1:00 within eyesight of Star Point, then missed one a few casts later.
