Those look great, But why not use a mold with a keeper barb to hold plastics on? Or are you just using a minnow?

The Mustad 32889BR makes a great hook for Crappie. I have poured a ton of these for guys.

I super glue plastics on....never tried that hook. Always used a sickle hook.
