From what I have read here and heard from RMP is the GT36 is best option I may be wrong other opinions will be posted. I will be purchasing the 106SV tomorrow and running a 93sv Plus with the GT30 and GT8 and will purchase a GT36 to replace the GT30 others please let me know also if the GT36 is the way to go.

I been using the GT30 and its a great transducer but maybe this winter i'll be replacing it with the GT36.......right now just not in a hurry.....

The GT36 (or GT56 for those needing the 2D sonar component) is much improved over the GT30 and GT34 and certainly worth the upgrade.
