Killswitch replacement, push-start 2014 Z520

Co-Angler snapped my killswitch key last weekend by yanking my life jacket out of my seat to swat some gnats. Long story. But I bought the generic key set that they seem to sell most places, but none of those seem to fit onto the kill switch button. Is there one specific to my Ranger? Push-start 2014 Z520 w/ a 250 etec.

I’m not entirely clear on what you mean, but if it’s the kill switch “tab” you need to replace, those are specific to the engine brand. Contact an Evinrude dealer, or post on our [BBC] Johnson/Evinrude forum for the best place to get one online.

The little plastic clip piece that attaches to the lanyard that attaches your person. The I can’t seem to find one in the universal set that clips to the kill switch on my boat.

That is definitely an Evinrude part.
