I am looking to switch my console graph from a Solix 12 G1 to a Solix 15 G3. My question is, do I need to change any of the existing wiring or transducer? Or will it be a plug and play where I can just buy a CHO model and hit the water?

You will definitely want a new transducer. The Solix 15 G3 uses the Mega+ transducer which was introduced with the Solix G2. The Solix G1 just has Mega and not Mega+.
