    Dobyns jig rods

I am looking for a 5/8 oz + plastic jig rod. I currently use the fury 735 and it works but I feel like I may miss some fish due to it being not sensitive enough. Currently my options are the sierra 734 or 735, champ 734, or the extreme 744,745,or 785. I fish highland reservoirs, mostly rock with some wood. It is kinda confusing because the ratings on these rods are much higher than what people say they have the best results with. Thanks in advance for input and suggestions.

Absolutely love my 745 hps. Use them for jigs and t rigs. I also use a 735 xp at times although not as sensitive.

I would suggest to go with a Extreme 746c. Many consider this the most sensitive rod in the DX line up of Dobyns. This rod fished anything from a 3/8oz jig with trailer to a 1oz jig with trailer. It is also versatile enough to be used for swimjigs, chatterbaits, frogs and its main purpose 'flipping and punching'.

The tip is fast enough to handle a lot of the lighter hook applications.

Extreme 745. I have two of them and they are perfect for what you are wanting.

This one. I have the DX 745c which is great for 3/8 - 1/2 oz jigs...anything bigger I would bump up to the 746.
