    Helix 8 Gen3 Problem

Last weekend my bow graph switched views automatically and I couldn't get it back to the MDI view. I went in the settings and looked at the selected transducer and it had changed to a Mega360 transducer and wouldn't let me change it back. (I don't have a 360 transducer) I figured out I had to choose an option to "Forget Mega 360" and then I could choose my built-in MDI transducer and everything was back to normal. Well, 30 minutes go by and it happens again. Ultimately it happened 7 or 8 times during the day and was an annoyance. Has anyone seen this and know what the fix might be?

    Thanks
    Chris

Install current software and select MEGA 360 Detect OFF in the Accessories menu.

Thank you, Wayne! That looks like it will fix my problem. I didn't know that option existed.

That fix is listed in the current software description.

Just to follow up. I upgraded from 2.440 to 2.660 and the problem seems to be fixed. As Wayne mentioned, this fix was listed in the release notes: "Fixed an issue where MEGA 360 would detect as present even though it was not connected."

    Thanks again.
