    Vmax 200 earmuffs

    Hey guys,

Was attempting to run my crappy earmuffs on my new to me 06 200vmax hpdi and due to the location of the intake being right on the round section of the lower end I couldn’t get them to seal at all.

can someone toss me some suggestions for the muffs they are using? Price is no issue if they will work properly.

    thanks!

I have been running my 250 on the hose flushing attachment for 20 years.... It must be OK.

Yamahas can be a PIA on muffs. They use the rectangular ones not the round ones. In summer mine doesn't like them much though. I need to muff them and put the lower unit in a big Rubbermaid tote filled with water. Fall I won't throw an alarm on muffs only.

i looked into the flushing attachment, but isnt this only available on the saltwater models? is there an add on that i can get?

    edit is it really as
simple as putting your hose into that water feed? Does it get into the engine that way?

Mine never gets hot on the flusher. Many will tell you, you can’t do this. Lol. Works for me.
