    2021 Pro XS issue??

    Model 12500033A
    Serial 3B041788

The issue started Saturday while running at above 5000 rpm and hit a wake the motor would lose power, go from 65-67mph to 45 mph and not go over 5000 rpm. Then after about a minute would gain back everything. But it's only doing it when hitting a wake.

How big or hard are these wakes? Possible you're losing water pressure when you're going over them?

Would be interesting to see the Engine History report... it might provide some helpful info.

Also about one time a day during an 8 hour day I will go to start the motor and it will smoke and smell like burning oil. That just usually happens one time a day

The smokey start happens at least twice a day for me, which seems like a well know issue that can be avoided. I just do not do it.

Make sure the engine is kept at a positive trim angle when shut down (not tucked all the way down/under).

One more question. When I turn my key on, Sen 1 comes up on the SmartCraft. Is that normal?

Perhaps Stn 1? If so, that's indicating your instrument is a the PRIMARY (Master) Station location (Station-1).
