Question about bow mounted electronics and TM?

Ok guys I have a 2012 619 with a Lowrance unit inserted in the bow plate and I have purchased a new Garmin unit. I am looking to install this new unit on an elevated platform vs where the Lowrance unit is currently. So in other words I am looking for suggestions and options that you all have done to your birds. I am hoping it will look nice and clean.

Second question is I also want to get the Force TM. I am thinking the 50" is the correct model as my current Motorguide has a shaft length of 45". Would my thinking be correct?

    Thanks for the assistance.

In terms of mounting your electronics, IMHO the most proven are Bass Boat Technologies (BBT) and Precision Sonar if you are looking to do an elevated mount on the bow plate. If you are just looking for a riser, BBT and Precision Sonar offer those as a do a number of other places

I believe the Force TM is offered in 50" and 57" versions. If your current Motorguide has a 45" shaft I would think the 50" would be right.
