    Transducer

I have broken my transducer twice is it possible to install in the bottom of the boat like in a fiberglass hull mainly want depth and temp so if I can't get a good pic of fish or bait I'm ok with that

Since you don't mention what boat, I'll assume you're talking about an aluminum rig. If so, you could run an alumaducer that mounts inside the boat. It won't get you temp, but it will get you depth reading.

Can you post a pic of where and how it’s mounted? After 3 years I just broke the front of my transducer mount so I’m looking at better placement as well.

I broke a transducer off on my RT188 and after doing some research I went with a Transducer Shiled and Transducer Saver Spring Back bracket and it is awesome. Might want to look into that.

I have mounted several puck style regular transducers(not Alumaducer)
in the bilge using only silicone. The read just as good as they did in a glass boat.
Be sure to work it around to get all the air bubbles out. LDS

I have a Stump Jumper mount(Tightwad, Missouri) on the transom of my Strike Series. It's spring loaded so if i run over something, it gives way. I sent it to Gator Trax as they were building my hull. They welded in a thick piece of plating especially for the mount.
