    Verado question

Question I have a Verado 250 #1B120046 on a 05z21. I'm going to buy a hydraulic jack plate to replace a 6" manual and was told that Ranger recommends a 10". Someone told me that the motor itself sets back four inches therefore I need a 6" plate. Does that sound correct? Any help appreciated

You are correct- there is already approximately 4" of setback built into the Verado 250 (of that vintage). 6" (such as the HD Atlas) would be a good choice.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!
