Bobcat Dash Helix Size

Getting conflicting info, so maybe somebody here can help. Just wondering about the max Helix size the Bobcat can accommodate (flush mounted without obstructing gauges). Saw a Bobcat advertised online with an 8", but I had another dealer tell me 7" was the max.
But......if I'm not mistaken, the 8" and 9" come in the same housing, making the physical dimensions the same respectively. So if an 8" fits the dash, a 9" should fit as well...right?

The 7” is not max and we think it will hold a 12” Helix though we will have to verify.

Thank you, BCB. I am trying to get back into the swing of things here with fishing. My last boat came with a graph that looked like the snake game on the first generation Nokia cellphones. I have plenty more dumb questions...but I will try to pace myself lol.
