    Mounting Talon, where and why?

    hey peeps, I just bought a Lund Pro V bass xs 1875. I am a looking for some advice on where i should mount my Talon and why. So, direct to transom, sandwich mount or jack plate mount. Thanks in advance.

    I would put it on jackplate, don't like drilling holes in transom if it can be avoided, and a sandwich is a pain to remove motor or jackplate or both.

    If a sandwich plate is going to be used, check with the motor manufacture as it might void the warranty.
