I was going to check out the weigh in but what ZOO. If all the boats I saw were there for the T it was a great turnout.
What we’re the winning weights and how did it compare to the last 5 years, in terms of overall weights?

We had 71 boats (thanks to all that joined the fun). Weights were awesome. First and second place were both over 31 pounds. Top 5 over 20 pounds. We paid 10 places and 10th had 16.5lbs. Big bass was 9.12 pounds.

WOW, sounds like the Chain is still holding up despite all the spraying, good to hear.

    Thanks for the update

How do they get the permits for that large of a tournament? Sounds like it was some great fishing!

Through myfwc.com. just sign up as a tournament director fill out the necessary online form and guesstimate how many boats you will have. Once approved you go on the website and print the number of the exemptions you think you will need. They make it pretty easy. We had them show up to one of our weigh-ins and it went fine. They took some of the fish for study purposes.

Impressive with cold front. IMO one of the best chains for offshore fishing. If I lived there I would spend a lot of time offshore finding some of them.
