    Super Glue:What's the best

I know they all are pretty good the FIRST time you use them, but dry out quick after that

I prefer tge Loctite Gel Control version. Bottles seem to stay fresh without drying out. I keep a couple in the boat.

https://www.target.com/p/gorilla-glu...l/-/A-75571460 this is by far the best super glue I’ve ever used. I have a bottle in my boat that I’ve had since spring 2020 that I still use which blows my mind. I have 3 bottles in the boat in my “tray” I use for miscellaneous items and I’ve yet to grab one of the bottles and had it glued shut. I will say I’ve had the tip clog up and I’ve had to take scissors or a knife and scrape it clean but it hasn’t dried up the nozzle yet leaving it useless.

I prefer the Loctite Gel Control. I always have trouble with the liquid glue.

Not to derail the thread but I have more problem with the top being glued so tight to the bottle that I end up breaking the bottle or top. Any suggestions on this as well?

I build and refurbish gun stocks. Woodcraft sells a super glue named Hot Stuff. You can buy it in three different thicknesses to suit your needs. It’s the best that I’ve found and have been using these types of glue for 20 years or so. It’s not cheap, but if you have wood to repair it’s the deal.
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.

Locktite liquid lasts the longest for me. Gorilla glue probably the strongest but more than double the cost. And it doesn't matter how strong it is if you can't get it out of the bottle.

Loctite gel for most things. Ca likes to be cold after opening, so in a boat I use the cheap stuff to hold trailers.

    At home it’s loctite.

I buy a card of the little individual use tubes. Whatever is on sale seems to work.

The best super glue i have found was for models. Found it in a hobby store. But it was really expensive. I normally just buy the Locktite.

I love watching project farm. Pretty informative videos.

I like the gel also, I use that in the boat on plastics and in the home for kids toys.
