Couple questions

, I am shopping for new boat, looking at FXR20 and 21.
( I have owned several skeeters over the years, last 1 being a 20iclass/SHO combo)
1— what if any, difference in FXR limited vs an LE?

2– have they improved the cooler/ice?
3- trailer issues?
4- national advertised price, is that best a dealer going to do?
I am in the aviation business so I am well aware of shortages, supply/demand etc.

1 - a "limited" is an "LE" (limited edition). Skeeter offers 3 models: LE, Select, and APEX. The hull & deck is the same on all 3 models. LE models come with most anything you would want, but only in given brand names and models. For instance, HB Helix units. Also your color selection is limited to the ones prepackaged by Skeeter, called Options.

3. I don't know, but I have a 2018 trailer which was the first year for Skeeter to supply their own trailer instead of EZ Loader. I haven't had any issues.

4. LE models, I don't think you are going to get a dealer to move on NAP as there is little markup on dealer side. Dealers have more running room on Select and APEX models.

Yes sir, there has been a major improvement in the ice cooler and lid.

Your major choices are electronics, hydraulic jack plate or not, trolling motor shaft length.

A lot of folks also consider the ZX models, rocker switches instead panel buttons, the trailer
has metal fenders instead of fiberglass. It's the same hull as fxr.

And don't worry, you'll get lots of opinions...

Have had no problems with the trailers from Skeeter. Have run FXR's and am now running the ZXR model, 21 foot.

those were the main dislikes I had with my I class, cooler and trailer. Glad they improved!
I see a few 22 FXRs 20\21 hitting the internet, but most say “on order”. Be here soon!
I did call about couple limited that interest me,, both were several $$$ more than that NAP.
Will see what pops up between now and first of year
