    How Cold For Froggin?

I know you guys do a lot of froggin at this time on Chickamauga. I'm in Illinois, but I'd like to know at what water temp the froggin dies off. I've heard that the bite can last into December, but I don't know what kind of water temps you have by then. Thanks for any info!

Frogging will be good until the grass is gone.

Depends on the lakes but I’ve caught fish on frogs well into the fall if there’s still grass. Colder than 50’s with my braid freezing

Well, so much for froggin. lol Found plenty (too much) coontail, but basically no mats left. Caught a few on a spinnerbait and a buzzbait in 55 degree water. Warm enough, just not much froggy looking cover.
