Quick advice for Kissimmee chain, long rain

Been fishing, cypress, hatch since yesterday morning

Cant seem to get on a consistent bite, seemed white frog was ticket early in day i got a few and missed several right away within 20 minutes, but then kinda went cold and i quickly went to t rig,

Been raining all day, what i know tells me a too water frog should be good all day in this weather, work it over the drilla matts, etc
Hoping someone that fishes this area often and has experience can chime in?

My first time fishing the chain or these lakes.

Any idea where to find some moving water? I heard they are dropping water level daily.

There are a couple of Creeks that flow into Hatch, look on Google Maps and you will find them . One North, One West, One South.

The Canals connecting the Lakes should all have moving water in them, use Rattletraps or other Crankbaits along the Chunk Rock.

There is a nice Hydrilla Field in Hatch, your going to have to find it, I'm not going to announce it on here.

There is a Ring of Hydrilla on Cypress, easy to find.

Flip/Punch the Mats of Hyicens that gather in the Reeds.

There are Creeks and Drainage Ditches on Toho that should have water moving in them from all this rain. Take a look at the Heavy Hitters Event on Toho the MLF did a year ago in June. Several of these Creeks are shown during that show(s).

Kissimmee has at least 3-4 Creeks that flow into it. Again, Google Maps is your friend.

Good Luck. Kissimmee can be on Fire or Cold as Ice.

You are doing nothing wrong at all. Why do the PROS not fish on TV this time of year??? It would show they are normal. The one thing I do this time of year is stay in bed until it is warmer.

That's what it was like for me the last time I fished it as well.

The 2nd weekend of October 3 of us fished it and between the three of us I think we put 7-10 fish in the boat OVER 3 Days of fishing. It was brutal.
