Question Loose prop with Flo Torq IV

I decide to try a Mercury Revolution 4 - 17P on my Mercury 175 ProXS Fourstroke, using a Flo Torq IV adapter. The motor came with a Mercury Tempest Plus 19P fitted with a Flo Torq II adapter.

After installing the Rev4 with IV adapter and torquing the retaining nut to specifications, the prop has noticeable side to side play. It’s enough that you can actually hear metal to metal contact between the prop hub and the hub aft adapter insert.

Check out the video and let me know if what I’m experiencing is typical for a Flo Torq IV or if I have a problem.

    Thanks

Maybe I’m missing something but wouldn’t you use the same Flo Torq II that you used with the Tempest

The Rev4 has a tendency to exhibit prop rattle on a Fourstroke when using the FloTorq II. The cushioning & flexibility of the FloTorq IV eliminates most of the rattle.
