    St. Clair mid November?

What can I expect for water temps? How’s the late fall bite typically?

Water is around 50 now - warmer than typical at this time of year. Probably be mid 40’s in 2 weeks.

Just got back today from fishing a couple of days. Caught 3-4lbers total.
The water was high 40’s to low 50’s. Fished the Mile Roads and Anchor
Bay caught them drop shot and rattle bait. Was windy and cold and really didn’t
see anybody else catch anything. I would not waste my time as I think
its too late for them to hit. Fished from 6’ to 14’. Good luck.

Thanks for the info everybody. It’s blade bait time here in Minnesota but I got a few on tubes and football jigs last time out too. I am picking up a new to me boat and will be three hours away from Saint Clair so I was wondering if it was worth the drive.

St Clair river south channel was 50 today. Anchor Bay was 47. Lake is clearing up, but still a ton of mud on the Canadian shore area. I was fishing (jigging) for walleyes today and did well. Talked to several guys that fished the US waters from windmill point to harley and landed 2 bass. A buddy of mine fished around the Hump and caught 22 lbs and around 20 fish all on swimbaits, nothing hit a blade.

They have been catching some out by the shipping channel, and at the south end near the Detroit River. Generally for me this time of year up there I struggle in the north end too. I just don't find the fish bunched up.

That's a good day no matter what scale you're using!

Seeing those 5 pounders on the scale makes me anxious to get out there. Hoping to get out at least one more time before winterizing the boat. Mother nature doesn't want to cooperate. I'll fish in the cold, but the wind needs to let up or at least be in a favorable direction.

Yep, going to try and fish Erie for a few hours in the morning. Unfortunately need more than a few hours available to head up to St Clair. Hoping the Friday afternoon forecast improves a bit.
