    Shell Lake

    Headin there in a few days. Never been, got any pointers? Suggestions?

    Relatively shallow, lots of willow weed. It;s small just drop the trolling motor and go. Squarebills, spinnerbaits, and your choice of soft plastics rigged any way you like. Abuddy of mine fished it a couple years ago, he was a member here do a quick search under shell lake and the thread should come up.

    Good day on the water today. Got on around 0830; however, the fish didn't want anything we were throwing til around 130. Started fishin plastics along steep banks and ended up boating bout 15 (spots, LM, and catfish). Water was mid 50's in the AM warming to 57-58. Great day to be on the water!
