    Boat Cover Maintenance

Quick question for the Champ family who has a cover from Deans. I know covers don't last forever, especially when the boat is outside in the elements 24/7. My Deans cover I believe is 4+ years old, and still in good shape and keeping it dry. Does anybody use a silicon or waterproofing spray to condition, or prolong the life of the cover? I'm of the mentality that if it ain't broken, don't try to fix it. But, I would love to get a few more quality years with the cover. Anybody use any specific products to help with longevity?

Yes spray it with a UV water repellant! This will help repel water and keep it from fading! I have sprayed mine about every 3 years. I bought a product from Lowes. Took 4 cans.

303 Fabric Guard, pricey but works amazingly well!
