    200 opti rpms

I have a 518 ranger with a 200 opti can only turn a good 25 tempest to 5250 but I’m running 68 by myself gps. Checked tack with an inductive tack hooked up and tack is real close. Others with same setup are turning 5700. I have a 6 inch plate set at 3.25 ptp. Holeshot not great. What prop and pitch should I look at

you've got a bit of room on the rpm's to go. Based on the numbers if they are correct you have really good slip at 5%. I'd drop down to a 24p and see about raising the jp a bit. Most likely going to take some fine tuning to get you to 5750.

I'd have the motor checked because you may be down one cylinder. That motor should turn a 25 tempest to 5700 on that boat unless your loaded real heavy. The old TM lower unit on your motor will never give you slip numbers under 10%
