Detwiler Jack plate - where to check fluid level?

I have a Detwiler Jackplate that I would like to check fluid level.
I guess it is 1999 like my boat.

I have googled, searched the forum and looked everywhere
I can fit my big head into and still can't find where to
Check the fluid.

Can anyone tell me where to look or pic of where to find it?


Jackplate will not raise.
I can hear the pump motor running.
I have the blinker trim.
I have greased the guide tubes via zerk fittings.

Photo of pump would help. Not familiar with deteiler jps but seastar now owns the detwiler line and their customer service can probably help.

In their newer pumps (2002 and newer) the yellow fill cap is where you check/ add fluid. Make sure the jp is in the up position because the fluid is pressurized when in down position.
