I have pulled mine twice over the years. Both time had to pry the tank at the back drivers side corner with a very large screwdriver. Once I got the corner it pretty much came right out.

Putting it back in required some pounding with a large rubber mallet.

Sounds like it needs to have a vacuum pulled on it somehow
