    Suggestions for new Lithium Charger

    I have:
    1 - Ionic / Crank
    3 - Impulse / Trollers

So I need a 4 bank charger that will work with the above. PP Charge is not an option as it didn't work for me (see thread in "General Bass Boat Topics", I don't want to rehash).

I have a 10+ old Dual Pro SE which I assume is not compatible with Lithium.

Stealth 1 Charger. Best one out there and can handle all your batteries, including if you later want to add a house battery. http://www.chargeontherun.com

I’ll be picking up the new MK 5 bank charger as soon as it’s out.

You will love it. Mine has held up in the roughest water conditions on the Columbia River. The Stealth 1 charger is one of the best kept secrets in bass and walleye fishing.

MK 5 bank is what I want to get as well. Big question is when will it be out. I emailed them twice asking about expected availability. No response.

I spoke with them at ICAST, sounded like 2022 with no mention of a date but all of their products have been hard to come by this year

Why this charger over others that are available, proven, more benefits, and likely less costly?

In my case, I'm thinking about adding a 5th battery so 5 banks would be good to have.

if you are run 2 AGM for crank and electronics you can use your existing 4 bank dualpro, put 2 banks on each battery and add a Stealh1 DC to charge the 3 trolling batteries
if going lithium you will need to swap the AC charger

I charge all 5 of my batteries with a Stealth 1 Charging system (AC and DC) which you can get from board sponsor Drewcraft. I use an X2Power AGM starting battery, and a 100 aHr Lithium house battery, and 3 lithium 100aHr trolling batteries. All are charged by this system both at home or hotel on AC and DC, and the trolling batteries are also charged by the outboard when running (even my truck if I wanted to). With this setup you could easily get by with 50 aHr lithium trolling batteries saving serious money (I use 100 aHr for fishing multiple day tournaments on big water). If you want to use lithium for both starting and house battery, there is a Stealth 1 model for that also. Both the AC and DC charger stack on top of each other and are very small and lightweight, much more compact than what you are looking at. Been running a Stealth 1 since 2007 and never had a problem. Many top touring pros have used the Stealth 1 for years but don't advertise it because they are not sponsored by Stealth 1.

The next issue of WesternBass.com magazine (Winter issue) will have an article by me about my setup, and a video.
    ciao,
    Marc

Very interesting info. I'll have to look into it. Ideally I'd like to find someone in my area (Austin TX) with installation experience. Because of some back issues I'm not anxious to be doing much work in my battery compartment.

Noco Gen pro is the best and least problimatic lithium charger currently on the market period. No I do not sell them.(yet)

In regards to the stealth charging system, is it still 1-36 volt charger lead pair and not 3 - 12 v charger lead pairs? I believe I've read, it wasn't a good idea charge to your 36V set as a series set vs individually, you won't equally distribute the charge to all three batteries?

I'm going to go with the Noco Pro 4 bank. I want something simple and easy that just works. Thanks for all the suggestions.
