Has anyone tried using active target with their Lowrance carbons? I already have the carbons and would rather use them than buying a new live unit. All the videos I have watched are using the live units. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

AT works perfect on my Carbon 12.

I agree. Works great, just update the software so that AT and the Carbon units are on the same level. I have 3 units and can watch the active target on any of them.Originally Posted by contium

fished with a buddy with a carbon 12 a few weeks ago vs my live 12 on my boat. No differences IMO.

Active target on my carbon looks just as good as the live unit.
As others have mentioned HDS Carbon and HDS Live are the same when it comes to AT, no difference what so ever for AT.
