    Any regrets with any Lithiums?

Anyone have any regrets with any brand or size of Lithium Deep Cycle batteries? Going to be changing out a 24v setup to a 36v on a TR-22 Triton. Warnings? Problems? Suggestins?

I have done it twice. No regrets at all. I bought Relions 50ah the first time. Recently I bought Impulse 60ah with Bluetooth. I really like having the app to keep track of their SOC. I never had an issue of wearing them out.

Make sure you update your charger as well as your batteries.

I have the Ionics in my TR20. 36v TM with 3-50ah lithiums and the 125ah lithium for the cranking battery. Had them for 20 months now and no issues. I have a ProXS 225hp and all electronics on the one battery. I can fish two tournaments on one charge of the batteries. After two tournaments the TM batteries have only gotten down to about 53% charge and cranking battery has never gotten below 83% charge.

I regret not getting to use them as often as I would like to. Other than that small annoyance it is a win win situation with Ionics from Drew. After years of lead acid disappointments, it is refreshing to no worry about batteries for fishing anymore.

Ionics for me...no regrets. Wished I'd done it sooner.

Complete Ionic set-up. Three 50AH's for 36V troller, 125AH for cranking, Ionic 4 bank charger, and Ionic jump box. I run four 12" units, livescope and I can fish three days on a charge maybe more based on wind conditions. Bluetooth APP is incredible, the batteries have been trouble free and the customer service is fantastic!

Yea, I regretted it so much the first time, I did it again. Those of us who have did it because we wanted to lighten up our boat and have better/longer use out of our batteries.

No regrets so far after 3 years but you need to make sure you have a charger that will charge them properly and there is no advance warning that your lithiums are going to run out of juice. There is no degradation in power like there is with lead acids and AGMs.

The app with ionics will show you easily what the state of charge is.

Indeed it will and other batteries and chargers have monitoring capabilities that are very useful as well but the battery will still just drop dead instantly if it runs out of juice.

Is that concern not overridden by monitoring the battery? Seems that one should have plenty of notice such that the battery dropping dead should never occur.

Kinda like never running a gasoline tank dry. If the fuel quantity system is working that is.

I never said it was a concern. It's how the batteries operate and just something to be aware of.

I have Battle Born lithiums and my monitoring system is a Power Pole Charge. I use a spare cell phone for the PP app.
