Any one try Active Target in shallow water?

    How'd it work?
No one can be wrong that often so it has to be deliberate.

Just spent the last three weeks fishing five days a week and getting to learn my AT. Scout mode IMO doesn't do a great job of distinguishing structure in shallow water. Scout mode does do a good job of showing brush piles in water 15' or less. In shallow water I am not looking for structure as much as looking for the fish. Before live sonar one need to find structure to maybe find fish. Live sonar shows the fish.

In Forward mode fish and structure are distinguished well in shallow water.

I just installed mine last week and have been out twice with it. I thought it was great. I was fishing a grass flat with 2 to 3 feet of water on top of the grass and running perspective mode. I see 3 fish swimming by 30 ft to the right, fire over there and caught 2 back to back casts. Out in 10 ft of water it is like watching National Geographic, bait balls being busted by bass and coming back together.
