    Suspended bass during fall turnover.

Local lake I fish is going through the fall turnover and the fish were suspended around 15' in open water off of several points and bluff walls I went over today, I tried a jigging spoon, drop shot and Crankbaits that run at that depth and couldn't get a bite on any of them. Going to try it again tomorrow evening, any tips?

You may want to consider a Damiki rig, and deep suspending jerkbaits, and if you want to mess with a long dropper float and fly about 1-2 feet above the fish that might coax a few bites as well.

Jerkbait, swimbait, glide bait, wake bait if clear, topwater, could float a drop shot with swimbait through them.

Try a one knocker lipless crank, not a rattler. Been working for me in similar conditions out here.
    Ranting incoherently

That's what I do most of the time, just figured I would try the main lake more.

I’ve never found anything better than just waiting a few days before trying again.

Kudos to those that can figure them out right after turnover, you’re a better angler than me!

I have a personal vendetta against suspended bass. I'll have some luck now and then dropping vertical with a 1/16 weighted wacky senko. It's super painful waiting for it to fall but less painful than skunking out for the day.
