300XS on 21XD Ignition Switch Change

Completing refurb and repower my 21XD with 300 XS. New switch panel and switches helm and bow, new dash panel with new gauges and electronic's. And now in the last minute of the last hour I have decided I would like to replace the standard Keyed ignition switch with a push button start. Has anyone done this before and could you offer guidance. I have not contacted Bullet nor Mercury as yet. I surely will.

A push button start will work except you’re bypassing the “on” position that gives you your initial beep alarm (state).

WV Bullet, I am hoping there is a complete switch kit. Otherwise I will look at separating the start-run function from the system power and aux.alarm and monitor circuits. Just kicking the tires as it were.

Good idea. I’m sure if you have a spare toggle for the on position then hit the button you’ll be just fine.
