Replacing gauges on 1998 Procraft 180 combo

Nearly all my gauges on my Procraft 180 combo with a 150 Mercury are shot and I’m looking to replace them. Will any set of outboard gauges work or are there certain sets I should stick with? Also is there any trick to wiring the new gauges in or is it just plug and play like the old set?

Any BRAND of gauge will be just fine, just make sure that the trim gauge is for a Merc. Merc. trim gauges and OMC gauges work backwards from each other. You should be able to unplug or un wire the gauges and plug or wire the new set back exactly like the old set.

Just replaced all of mine in my 2000 R83VS with mercury gauges from the following Ebay seller. I had black face gauges and went to white face with chrome bezels with red backlighting. WOW what a difference. This outfit shipped immediately. https://www.ebay.com/str/mercurypart....m47492.l74602

Yes they were plug and play.
