Have a 2015 Z8. Love the boat. Question I have is, has anyone installed an aftermarket recessed TM tray? The one that comes with the boat is shallow and the pedal is still 1/2 way above the floor elevation. More importantly, the Ultrex pedal doesn't even fit inside. Anyone overcome this issue> Thoughts?
There are several z7/8/9 listed in the boats for sale here that have after market trays in them.

If you go aftermarket, talk to Dawson at Fishon Fabrications. He has all of the specs that are tailored specifically your boat. It is reasonably priced and comes powder coated.

there is another solution, by peeling the carpet out of the heel area of the foot well you can trim like 1.25" forward/aft and .75"left to right on both sides of the heal area. And this will allow the foot pedal to sit down and has been strong enough for the people who did it. I believe you can get them from Tackle warehouse. That is where I got mine.
