    AVX pedestal removal

    Probably a dumb question.
Picked up my 2022 AVX 1880 Wednesday, and on the water yesterday to start break-in.
How do you remove the pedestal from the deck. All my previous boats had the 3/4" pin. So, I have no experience with this pedestal.

If your talking about the seat post. Just pull straight up. It may take a few try’s. I prefer the screw in posts myself.

Eventually the bottom of the insert bushing will break out and it won't stick anymore.

I gave up trying to remove the rear pedestal seat after the ordeal of removing my front one.

Thanks to all. Just had to use a little more force than I am used to.
