21 Z19 Pro tackle storage

That front setup must have been designed by a 3rd grader. typical 3700 boxes will not fit right no matter how long you play Tetris with them.
I need to figure out how to organize this area......maybe I am just OCD.

The back of the boat has better tackle storage than the bow does

I have a 2019 Z19. Before I got this boat I had the 3700 boxes and switched to the 3600 boxes which I like better anyhow. Now I stand them up but I have 21 boxes I think in my boat along with 2 KVD speed bags and 4 worm binder type bags. I like my set up and all my tackle is upfront with me.

Its not just you. I was quite disappointed to find my center storage just slightly too narrow to put 3700 boxes horizontally. Just seems dumb to build it that way.

Here are a couple pics of the center box of my 2021 Z19 Pro.
3700 boxes on the sides, 3600 boxes in middle center, KVD Speed bags middle front along with a 6th Sense bag for small swimbaits. Spinnerbaits and misc stuff center rear and cupholders. I have magnetic and stick on holder's on the lid.

Any over flow goes in starboard locker. I move stuff in and out based on season and lake.

That storage system or layout of compartments is the main reason why I would have a hard time buying a Z19 or Z20. The Z21 is much nicer IMO.

I'll try and post some photos tomorrow of my storage in my Z19. I think the front storage is laid out pretty good. I put most of my 3700 boxes in the back compartments that are designed for the bigger box. ;)

I would take the divider thing out. Actual compartment is huge, then you can put as much of anything you want in there. I carried a bunch of 3700 boxes over to the boats as bass pro....salesman thought I was nuts. Showed him that a 3700 box wouldn't fit in a z21 unless you turned it. Then showed him in a z20. Told him I'd get the 20 and take divider out and it would be bigger than my Z7 box. He was blown away that the boxes didn't fit in either

Here is my tackle storage in my 2022 Z19. Everything fits great. Just simple minded i guess. :)

I took the deviders out of my Z20 and it’s much better.

I don't see what the problem is, you should be able fit plenty if you take the dividers out.

I wouldn't say they are useless. I used them for a while and this year I decided to remove them. I still have them so I can put them back if I need or want them.
