    Verado weight

Im looking at an 2008 verado and notice its 100 lbs hwavier at 612 lbs. Anyone switch to a verado and notice a difference in performance from switching to a verado due to the weight?

I do not own a Verado (I have a 300R on a 2400 Checkmate) Depending on the boat, 100 lbs might be 1 mph (all else including HP, gear ratio and prop being the same). Some boats like more weight in the back (c of g keeps the nose up more) and you might pick up or stay at the same speed. Some boats might struggle to get on the plane if they were marginal before. On some boats you might want to reduce the set back a bit if holeshot is worse or if it starts to porpoise at lower speeds. Hopefully some members that made this switch on the same boat will chime in.

Since you have a built-in setback on the Verado L6, you won't need as much jackplate. That moves the "moment of inertia" a bit and in many cases, the difference is negligible.
