SeaStar set up for a 1996 191 DCX with 200hp Mariner and 8 inch jack plate
I have my boat in for winter storage at the boat repair shop. While they have it they are going to reseal the transom and all the through hole opening along with some other hull work I need done. Since they will be taking the 200 hp Mariner Magnum off I figured this would be the ideal time to put on a Bob’s 8 inch jack plate and a new SeaStar steering system. Has anyone done that combination on their 191 and would you please share which SeaStar kit you bought and how long the hoses need to be. Any other words of advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I've been reading that the U-Flex system from Mercury is a higher quality product... I have no experience with them...

Seastar Pro is what Champ provided for their hydraulic steering.
