Looking to add some weedguards to neko/wacky hooks.

I tie 20 lb. Mono just below the eye. With fly tying thread

Heavy Fluro line works well and it is as not as noticeable as the mono. Works great for jigs as well.

I've tried it with 25lb mono and it's not quite stiff enough. Will look for 30-40lb over the winter

I prefer titanium wire leader. I cut it long, fold it in 1/2 and thread it through the back side of the hook and fold it down.
