    MercMonitor and Vessel View Mobile

I posted this over in the Mercury forum, as well, so forgive the duplication. I was wondering if any of you guys were running both the MercMonitor and VV Mobile on your rigs and what the advantages are of having the VV Mobile in addition to the MM (other than being able to see data on your device). My 2020 520L came with mercmonitor installed but no VV Mobile. Wondering if it is worth adding. Thanks for any thoughts.

I have both between two boats. The VV Mobile app has added some functionality such as capturing top speed, RPMs, etc. If you don't care about that and only want to view the data while in the boat, your gauge will do the same, if not more than the app.

Thanks! This is very helpful. I just want to be sure it's a good investment. Considering adding some electronics (active target, etc.) so the money might be better invested there.
