Cool! I got a '09 Z520 Silverado Edition as well! ........... running a 26" Fury4, but on an eTec though. Runs a solid easy-70 fully loaded with 2, and 72-74 single and light depending on things.
Are you running an older 2 stroke Optimax Pro XS or a new 4 stroke Pro XS?????? If it's the 4 stroke, then you'll need to drop down to like a 23" (based on what the typical Z520/4 stroke combo's are running), but even then those numbers you posted are low. If it's a 2 stroke, then there is either something wrong with the motor, the prop shaft height, a transducer location, the prop is messed up, or something.
Based on the numbers you supplied, that's like 18% prop slip .......... my duck boat with a chewed up prop at the end of duck season doesn't have that much slip.

I appreciate the insight, and nice boat! The motor is an 08 250 XS... The local shop said I should be running like a 23 or 24 with tha with those kinds of rpms. How can you tell there's slip? Btw no ducer on back...
Even that prop should get you more than 60 mph if it's any good. It's showing 21% slip now so something is wrong. How high prop to pad are you running it? The best prop for that boat and motor is a 25.5 Bravo xs set at 2.5" under pad.

Update. Just tried a 24 fury 3 blade and got 5650 rpms at 70mph. Wow that made a difference!
