    Lews Speed Spool BB1 Pro Series

    I like this reel and want to try to fix it.

    The problem is that when i turn the reel it is not smooth.. no sounds... just seems to be rubbing internally in like i'd say 30% of the rotation.

    What could it be ? Is it worth trying to fix it myself if it something common ? :)

    Replace the pinion and main gear.

    Call Lews. When I've had issues (very few for a lot of reels), they have been awesome to deal with.
