Herter decoys???

Have 7 mallards , 12 golden eyes , all foam with weighted keel in good condition. What are they worth?

I would like to know the answer as well. I have a couple of dozen sitting in the garage now. still use them from time to time.

So I'm no expert here by any means but I would think if they are in pretty decent shape you should get at least $15 a piece as a low ball just dumping them number. My buddy actually buys the older ones and refurbishes them and gets top dollar for them. Lots of east coast guys are going back to the foamers instead of plastics for sea ducks. He cant make them fast enough to meet demand.

What are they worth?

It all depends on what model # you have (ie 63, 72, 81, 92 .... and whatever else I forgot, LOL), as well as condition (original vs 'touched up', and if touched up was it decoy paint, etc), and how long you're willing to sit on them before someone pays the price you want out of them.

I'd love to have a mallard drake in good original condition ......... but I DANG SURE ain't paying fleeBay price. I remember playing 'duck hunting' with dad's and grandpa's old Herters and having our labs fetch the decoys as I shot them with the BB gun.
