Absolutely. One of my customers (shotgun industry) is a retired womens MMA professional. It wouldn’t even cross my mind to mess with her (I wouldn’t sneak in a side hug or anything she isn’t ready for). I trained 5 years in the early days of UFC/MMA and they are in a different league altogether.
On a bit of a down realistic note. It’s a rough life for them and there are some mental and emotional scars. Think every time you meet anyone… they want to test you. Add alcohol and it gets much worse. And then in the octagon/ring there really isn’t much as fair. Lots of steroids outside the USA (if not in) and these athletes have “super” strength for their size. My customer talks about having her leg snapped like a twig by another woman. She is a big tough woman and I couldnt break her leg with 1000 heal kicks.
As mentioned above…. I would fight none of them. My timing and effectiveness was mediocre at best at 25 years old… at 50 I couldn’t beat up the neighbors cat (or would pull a muscle in the process).
